As the founder of BodyWise Psychotherapy, LLC I have a strong passion for supporting people to become BodyWise, or to be more aware of the information that is constantly being communicated between their mind and their body. Being a registered Dance/Movement Therapist I understand that often times mental health disorder is rooted in a lack of connection with the body. By creating a bridge between what we think, how we physically feel and how we experience the world, we can find harmony.
The BodyWise approach consists of the following core psychotherapy methods: Dance/Movement Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness. Through the use of this integrated process, my patients develop life-changing habits to help them cope with any of life’s various obstacles. My therapy sessions are designed to dissect personal issues and provide patients with effective tools to help them reach self-actualization and live a joyful life.
